This is a 1st shift position Monday-Friday, 5a-1:30p hours. This position is responsible for ensuring products are blended in accordance with FDA regulatory requirements as well as company procedures and policies. This job description is not intended to be an all-inclusive list of duties and standards of the position. Incumbents will follow any other instructions, and perform any other duties, as assigned by their supervisor. Essential responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: -Operating all equipment associated with blending. (Scales, blenders, powered picking-trucks, pallet jacks, sifters, ladders, and mills-Demonstrating professional behavior while working in a team approach to managing challenging situations.
-Properly wear and use PPE’s (back support, safety glasses, strap harness, gloves, footwear, respirators, protective coverall) to perform the job
Work Requirements and Skills:- Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) is required for this position
- Previous or similar work experience is preferred, but not required
- Must demonstrate flexibility when re-prioritization is necessary
- Must be able to operate equipment required for the position (Scales, blenders, powered picking-trucks, pallet jacks, sifters, ladders and mills)
- Must be able to work overtime when the company deems it necessary
- Must be able to wear the necessary, job-related personal protective equipment to perform the job
- Ability to lift (up to 50-lbs), stand, walk, bend, crouch, reach, stretch, step, climb occasionally during the duration of the shift
