Job Summary:
The role of an Ecommerce VIP Personal Shopper at rag & bone is a vital position that requires a combination of sales expertise, customer service, styling skills, and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with VIP clients. Here’s an overview of what this role entails:
Objective:
  1. Increase Customer Loyalty: Focus on creating repeat customers and building a loyal VIP client base.
  2. Drive Sales: Meet or exceed sales targets by nurturing relationships and offering personalized product recommendations.
  3. Enhance Brand Image: Continuously reflect the brand’s image through excellent service and strong customer relationships.
Responsibilities:
  • Deliver Best-in-Class Customer Experience
  • Provide a tailored shopping experience for VIP customers by understanding their individual preferences, needs, and style.
  • Ensure deep knowledge of the product range, trends, and collections to offer the most suitable options for each client.
  • Be proactive in reaching out to customers with new collections, exclusive offers, and personalized recommendations based on their shopping history and preferences.
  • Maximize Spend and Loyalty: Utilize sales strategies to enhance customer loyalty and increase average spend. Focus on creating repeat business and building a long-term relationship with each client.
  • Suggest relevant products and upsell or cross-sell based on the customer’s style preferences and past purchases.
  • Develop strong, lasting relationships with VIP clients by offering exceptional service, regular follow-ups, and personalized experiences.
  • Customer Retention: Ensure VIP customers feel valued by providing exceptional, consistent service. Respond promptly to inquiries and address any concerns with professionalism and empathy.
  • Represent the Brand: As a brand ambassador, embody the values of rag & bone in every customer interaction, ensuring that clients have a memorable and positive experience that reflects the company’s standards.
  • Ensure that every touchpoint, whether in-person, on the phone, or online, reflects rag & bone’s brand and ethos. This includes consistency in language, tone, and service quality.
  • Provide expert styling advice, helping customers build complete looks and offering suggestions that align with their style and wardrobe needs.
  • Use your understanding of the brand’s aesthetic to create personalized styling suggestions and ensure customers leave with looks that resonate with their personal style and the current trends.
  • Actively listen to your customers’ needs and demonstrate empathy in every interaction. Understand and anticipate their expectations to create an exceptional experience.
Requirements: ( skills, qualifications, education, etc)
  • Sales Skills: Proven track record in sales, with the ability to upsell, cross-sell, and generate repeat business through relationship building.
  • Experience:  2-3 years of personal shopping experience, preferably in a DTC role.
  • Customer Service Expertise: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to engage with clients, understand their needs, and provide top-tier service.
  • Styling Ability: A keen eye for fashion and the ability to provide personalized styling advice.
  • Brand Knowledge: In-depth understanding of rag & bone products, trends, and company ethos.
  • Proactivity: Ability to take the initiative to reach out to clients, anticipate their needs, and offer relevant products or services.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to handle difficult situations with poise and professionalism, ensuring a positive resolution. 
  • Capability: Strong written and verbal skills as well as being able to multi-task and operate multiple platforms simultaneous

Location - Based in our corporate office in NYC with the ability to be remote dependent on business needs (hybrid)

  • The target salary of this position is $55,000 - $65,000 based on years of experience and qualifications. Commission eligible.
