Position Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Technology Business Analyst Intern to join our team. This internship offers hands-on experience in analyzing technology specifications for enhancements, gathering requirements, and supporting the development of technology solutions that align with strategic goals. PAY: $18-$21 per hour (Determined by the knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant.) • Additional benefits include meaningful work, relocation benefits, intern week experience, casual dress code, plus you'll earn 401k contributions during your internship. Essential Functions
  • Log and manage IT service demand and using ServiceNow including documentation of
  • technical inefficiencies.
  • Ensure documentation adhered to industry standards and supported audit and compliance requirements.
  • Document functional and non-functional needs
  • Map current workflows
  • Translate business needs to technical specifications
  • Validate system designs against business goals

  • Monitor for data integrity
What Is Required
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree as a major in industrial engineering with a minor systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with employees and various business contacts in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
  • Ability to prepare and give presentations.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word and Excel.

  • This role will be required to travel up to 10% of the time.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Familiarity with business analysis tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Dev Ops is a plus.)
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for technology and interest in business strategy. Operations research, systems engineering, supply chain management, lean manufacturing.
  • Identify Process Technology gaps to streamline our utility industry.
  • Efficiency analysis of utility operations.
  • Data-driven decision-making for work and maintenance planning enhancements.
