Position Summary:

We are a dynamic, family-owned company specializing in high-end fabric distribution and custom manufacturing of tablecloths, napkins, and draping for the event industry. Dedicated to exceptional design and best-in-class service, we are seeking a skilled and motivated Manufacturing Supervisor to oversee daily operations on the production floor of our tablecloth manufacturing facility. 

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing personnel, ensuring production efficiency and quality, maintaining safety standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. This role is crucial in ensuring timely and cost-effective production of high-quality tablecloths that meet customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and participate in daily manufacturing activities, including cutting, sewing, and packaging of tablecloths.
• Assign tasks to production workers and monitor progress to meet deadlines and quotas.
• Ensure compliance with production schedules and address any delays or issues in real-time.
• Identify inefficiencies in production processes and suggest or implement improvements.
• Monitor machinery and equipment for performance issues and schedule necessary maintenance.
• Enforce safety guidelines and ensure a clean, hazard-free workspace.
• Implement and monitor quality assurance procedures to ensure finished products meet design and quality standards.
• Coordinate with inventory and supply chain personnel to ensure material availability.

 
Team Leadership:

• Train, mentor, and evaluate production staff to maintain high performance and morale. 
• Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, changes, and safety protocols.

 
Qualifications:

• 3+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment, experience in textiles or sewn products.
• Experience in cutting and sewing tablecloths, napkins, pillows, etc. 
• Strong understanding of textile fabrication processes, cutting layouts, and production line optimization.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Textile Production, or a related field preferred.
