The Long Range Hypersonic Weapon \(LRHW\) program is seeking a Project Engineer to support the Assembly, Integration and Test \(AI&T\) team at our Huntsville, AL campus\. As a key member of the team, as our Project Engineer you will play a critical role in supporting production and integration efforts ensuring the success of the program\. Our ideal candidate will have a strong Engineering background, excellent communication and collaboration skills, and experience working in a production environment\. **Key responsibilities: In this role you will\.\.\.** - Develop build schedules to support the Integrated Master Schedule \(IMS\) - Provide status updates on related IMS tasks - Communicate and coordinate with hardware design engineers to ensure smooth production operations - Support testing and checkout activities of electrical cables/harnesses and hardware assemblies **Our employees working in this level of position typically have 5\-10 years of experience\.** \#LockheedMartinSpacePME **Basic Qualifications:** - Bachelor degree in an Engineering or STEM discipline with 5\+ years of professional experience in a related field, such as Aerospace, Defense, or Manufacturing - Ability to troubleshoot Command, Control and Communication architecture - Proficient in reading and interpreting complex electrical and mechanical drawings - Experience with Electrical test equipment such as bench top power supplies, oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, data acquisition systems and/or software development tools - US Citizenship and the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance **Desired Skills:** - Active Secret Clearance - 5\+ years of professional experience working in a Systems Engineer type capacity within the Aerospace, Defense, or Manufacturing industries - Demonstrated basic understanding of systems thinking skills and behaviors - Broad experience with Manufacturing, Integration and Test Lifecycle - Strong teamwork skills - Excellent communication, organizational, interpersonal, and problem\-solving skills - Ability to work in a fast\-paced environment and collaborate with cross\-functional teams **Security Clearance Statement:** This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration\. **Clearance Level:** Secret **Other Important Information You Should Know** **Expression of Interest:** By applying to this job, you are expressing interest in this position and could be considered for other career opportunities where similar skills and requirements have been identified as a match\.
