Because what we do here is important, but how we do it is everything. **THE PRODUCTION TEAM** The Production Team is responsible for overseeing Cupertino Electric's Field workforce, ensuring that all projects are executed with the high standards of safety, productivity, scheduling, quality and cost control. Our team is dedicated to operational excellence, maintaining tight control over project execution from start to finish. We take pride in developing and deploying the best Field Managers in the industry, leaders who drive performance, uphold standards, and deliver successful project outcomes. **ABOUT THE ROLE** + Maintain an accurate project schedule for all Energy Group projects that includes contractual milestones and deliverables to client. Support the project team to ensure contractual compliance as needed/requested. + Develop the commissioning micro schedule in compliance with contract requirements and work plan. Lead reviews as needed to ensure project is tracking to the micro schedule. Develop and implement recovery strategies as needed. + Develop project specific Commission Plans using CEI template and project specific contract documents. + Coordinate with vendors on schedule and commissioning plan to ensure micro schedule is met. This should include scheduling vendor commissioning activities, troubleshooting, coordinating software or hardware upgrades, critical/fatal punchlist items. + Lead performance testing. This could be through 3rd party or in house engineering. Interface with IE and client on issues related to this phase of work. + Either directly or through subordinates, maintain industry awareness of new technologies that could improve project value. (Lower costs and/or higher yields) + Directly or through subordinates, manage final turnover to the client and CEI Warranty. + Pre-Award/RFP Involvement: Review and provide feedback on commission and performance criteria. + Post Award/Pre-Construction Involvement: Provide initial CX plan and TOP for client review and feedback. + Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) as appropriate for commissioning and performance related issues. **Scope:** Establishes operational objectives and work plans and delegates assignments to subordinates. Senior management reviews objectives to determine success of operation. Involved in developing, modifying and executing company policies that affect immediate operations and may also have company-wide effect. **Complexity:** Works on issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives. Implements strategic policies when selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Establishes and assures adherence to budgets, schedules, work plans, and performance requirements. **Discretion:** Erroneous decisions will result in critical delay(s) in schedules and/or unit operations and may jeopardize overall business activities. **Interaction:** Regularly interacts with senior management or executive levels on matters concerning several functional areas, divisions, and/or customers. Requires the ability to change the thinking of, or gain acceptance from, others in sensitive situations, without damage to the relationship. **Supervision:** Manages activities of two or more sections or departments. Exercises supervision in terms of costs, methods, and staffing.
