Join Kellanova as a Senior Data Architect to help shape the future of our enterprise data landscape. As part of our Global Data & Analytics team, you’ll play a key role in designing scalable, resilient data solutions while guiding agile delivery across multiple teams. This role is remote within regions where Kellanova operates, with a preference for candidates based in or near Chicago, IL.

In this high-impact position, you’ll collaborate with engineering, product, and business stakeholders to turn data strategy into real-world solutions. From cloud platforms and ERP systems to syndicated data and digital ecosystems, you’ll help modernize how we use data to drive measurable business value—leading both the “what” and the “how” of our transformation journey.

A Taste of What You'll Be Doing

• Architecture & Strategy  – You'll lead the design of enterprise data platforms, models, and pipelines that span ERP systems like SAP, syndicated data sources such as Nielsen and IRI, and modern cloud ecosystems. Using tools like Snowflake, Databricks, and dbt, you'll create scalable solutions across multi-cloud environments. You'll also play a key role in defining and evolving standards for data modeling, integration, quality, and observability.
• Agile Delivery Leadership  – You'll oversee multiple agile teams working on interconnected data products and platforms. From release planning to dependency management, you'll ensure smooth coordination across engineering, QA, governance, and business teams. Your role will be the bridge between technical design and business execution, keeping everyone aligned on timelines, risks, and value delivery.
• Lifecycle & Change Management  – You'll own the full data lifecycle — from ingestion to activation — while maintaining awareness of downstream dependencies and user impact. You'll ensure architectural changes are thoughtfully implemented, considering governance, data contracts, user experience, and business continuity.
• Leadership & Influence  – You'll serve as a mentor and thought leader across architecture, engineering, and product teams. By collaborating with global business units and functional partners, you'll help drive enterprise-wide adoption of modern data practices and foster a culture of innovation and excellence.

We're Looking for Someone With

• Bachelor’s degree   in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Several years of experience in data architecture, engineering, or delivery leadership—ideally in the CPG space.
• Proven success designing and delivering enterprise data solutions across cloud, ERP, and media/data ecosystems.
• Strong technical skills in Snowflake, Databricks, dbt, SQL, and orchestration frameworks.
• Experience leading agile teams (SAFe, Scrum, or hybrid).
• Deep understanding of data lifecycle, metadata, governance, and change impact.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Compensation

The annual salary range is $147,400 - $193,410, which is based on various factors such as location, experience and skill. Discretionary bonuses based on company and individual performance are also available.
