• Hackensack Meridian Mountainside Medical Center is an 820,000-square-foot facility that offers the latest medical programs, cutting-edge technology, and patient-focused care that includes 365 beds, 1,200+ employees and a 27-bed Emergency Room/Fast Track Unit.

• Physical ability to perform a job that requires bending, stretching, and lifting moderate to heavy loads
• Maintaining the cleanliness of the facility - cleaning/restocking restrooms, cleaning examination rooms, pulling trash, vacuuming, dusting, break rooms, and common areas
• Clean patient rooms using approved cleaners
• Empty and clean trash cans daily
• Excellent Customer Service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients, staff, and visitors.
• Perform a variety of environmental services duties to maintain the hospital in a neat, orderly, and sanitary condition
• Carry beeper or phone and respond to all requests for service
• Begin and close shift during absence of a manager and/or supervisor
• Assign tasks to other team members as needed
• Perform any and all other duties assigned

Job Requirements:

• 1 + year experience in hospital cleaning

Preferred Job Requirements:

• High School Graduate or GED
• Diploma from a vocational or technical program
