Position Summary
Offroad Motorsports & Cycle Sales is seeking an experienced, motivated, and detail-oriented High-Level Service Technician to join our service department. This individual will be responsible for accurately diagnosing, repairing, and servicing a variety of powersports vehicles including ATVs, motorcycles, and side-by-sides. This is a senior-level position requiring leadership, technical expertise, and a customer-first mindset.
Key Responsibilities
· Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and fuel system issues on a wide range of powersports vehicles. · Perform routine maintenance, advanced repairs, and performance upgrades. · Accurately document all work performed and recommended services in our dealer management system. · Conduct pre-delivery inspections and quality control checks on new and used units. · Assist in mentoring junior technicians and provide technical guidance as needed. · Stay current on manufacturer service bulletins, recalls, and technical updates. · Ensure all work meets dealership, manufacturer, and safety standards. · Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace. · Communicate with Service Advisors and customers regarding repair timelines and outcomes when required.
Qualifications
· Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in powersports or motorcycle repair. · Certifications from manufacturers such as Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki, or Can-Am preferred. · Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills across all vehicle systems. · Proficient with electronic diagnostic tools and repair software. · Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in a physically demanding environment. · Must have own professional-grade toolset. · Valid motorcycle license and clean driving record.
