Job Description

A leading Landscape management firm seeks an experienced General Manager to lead and elevate its operations. This role requires an accomplished leader with expertise in overseeing daily operations, cultivating relationships with high-net-worth clients, and driving business growth with financial acumen while upholding the highest standards of quality and service.

The selected candidate will be instrumental in shaping the future of the organization’s operations, ensuring operational efficiency, financial performance, and cultural alignment as the business scales.

Operations & Leadership

Oversee daily operations, ensuring seamless service delivery across estate landscape maintenance, landscape construction projects, and seasonal enhancements.

  • Implement best-in-class operational strategies, streamlining processes to enhance efficiency and service quality.
  • Provide financial oversight, leveraging performance metrics, P&L management, and strategic decision-making to optimize business growth.
  • Ensure alignment with company values, maintaining high standards of service, professionalism, and discretion.
  • Emphasize a Completed Staff Work Mindset, ensuring that all work presented to leadership is fully analyzed, decision-ready, and requires minimal further refinement.
  • Play a pivotal role in succession planning, with the opportunity to transition into an expanded leadership role.
  • Actively identify, analyze, and resolve challenges demonstrating accountable leadership.

Client Relations & Business Development

  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with high-net-worth clients with exceptional service.
  • Proactively solve challenges and address needs while maintaining the highest levels of professionalism.
  • Lead strategic growth initiatives, expanding service offerings and identifying new revenue opportunities.

Team Development & Cultural Alignment

  • Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing team dedicated to high performance standards.
  • Foster a collaborative, results-driven culture, ensuring alignment with organizational values and best practices.
  • Establish workforce training programs to enhance skills, safety, and service excellence.

Financial & Operational Excellence

  • Optimize cost structures, pricing strategies, and resource allocation to improve operational efficiency.
  • Implement data-driven decision-making, leveraging analytics to enhance service delivery and financial performance.
  • Drive continuous improvements in efficiency, accountability, and EBITDA performance.

Sustainability & Innovation

  • Promote sustainable estate management practices, incorporating eco-friendly landscaping solutions and operational innovations.
  • Ensure adherence to industry best practices while exploring new efficiencies in service delivery.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in estate management, luxury residential services, or high-end hospitality.
  • At least 7 years of experience in operations or general management, ideally within estate management or luxury landscaping construction and maintenance services.
  • Strong background in financial management, P&L oversight, and strategic growth initiatives.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships with an emphasis on discretion and trust.
  • Exceptional leadership and team-building skills, with experience in talent development and workforce training.
  • Implement operational efficiencies and performance-driven strategies to improve service and profitability.
