About the Role: Lead the Coastal Hospitality Movement

A growing and innovative multi-concept restaurant group with four distinct venues across Southern New England. We’re seeking a high-performing General Manager to lead two of the group's most iconic and high-volume coastal properties:

• Chapter One (Mystic, CT) – Coastal American cuisine in the heart of Connecticut’s foodie capital
• Surf Cantina (Westerly, RI) – A lively modern Mexican kitchen and tequila bar just steps from the shore

What You’ll Do

Operations & Guest Experience

• Lead daily operations at Chapter One and Surf Cantina with a hands-on approach to service excellence
• Collaborate with chefs and beverage teams to drive innovation and consistency
• Be a visible leader on the floor and in the kitchen, especially during peak shifts

Financial & Business Leadership

• Achieve and exceed key performance targets:
• Labor | Food | Liquor
• Manage payroll, vendor relations, and cost control systems
• Utilize tools such as POS, BevSpot, and internal dashboards for financial decisions

Team Culture & Development

• Recruit, train, and inspire managers and key hourly team members
• Lead performance reviews, coaching sessions, and leadership development workshops
• Foster a high-accountability, hospitality-first culture

Who You Are

• A high-energy leader with 5+ years in upscale, high-volume restaurant management (multi-unit preferred)
• Strong operational and financial acumen with a track record of results
• A confident and collaborative presence—guest-obsessed, people-focused
• Tech-savvy and organized: POS systems, inventory management, Microsoft Office
• ServSafe Certified (preferred); wine and beverage knowledge is a strong plus
