Boeing Defense & Space (BDS) is hiring an **Experienced** **Product Review Engineer** ( **Liaison Engineer)** to join the **Patriot Advanced Capability-3 (PAC-3)** team located in **Huntsville, AL** . This engineer will perform/support troubleshooting ,Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA)technical analysis and provide solutions to non-conforming products. This position will work directly with cross functional and production engineering teams to meet production program objectives. Boeing Huntsville has multi-year contracts to develop, manufacture, and test the Patriot Advanced Capability-3 (PAC-3) missile seeker and future improvements. These contracts are driving significant, long-term growth for the PAC-3 engineering team on the Huntsville campus. **Shift:** This position is for C shift. + C Shift: F/Sa/Su; 3x12 - Starts at 6am + Shifts may be eligible for a shift differential and subject to availability **Position Responsibilities:** + Applies basic knowledge of Boeing design and/or engineering principles to develop interim or final engineering solutions to product/process issues throughout the production lifecycle + Analyzes, conducts root cause analysis and develops dispositions for design non-conformances + Applies engineering principles to research technical, operational and quality issues to develop interim and final engineering solutions + Provides written dispositions for routine design non-conformances + Participates in Material Review Boards + Represents the engineering community in the production environment, providing lineside support + Recommends simple non-destructive test procedures, tools, standards + Ensures supplier and build partner compliance with Boeing standards + Develops and implements product/process improvements + This position may require shift flexibility, based on business needs + Must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed, based on business needs + Non-standard work week options may also be utilized to meet business objectives This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location. **This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post Start is required.** **Basic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience):** + Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), computer science, engineering data science, mathematics, physics or chemistry + 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience + Knowledge of repair concepts and methodologies including standard repair processes, component repair concepts, structural and composite repair procedures, and basic electrical repair procedures, and basic system repair processes + Experience with Material Review Board / Liaison Engineering (MRB / LE) Authority (including participating in Material Review Board activities related to aircraft/component/system/circuit card repairs) + Must be willing to work variable shifts, including weekends and overtime **Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills & Experience):** + Experience gathering data and performing a Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) + Aerospace experience, fabrications, manufacturing, and/or additive manufacturing experience + Production engineering experience with relevant technological knowledge + Experience in solving simple to complex problems + Electrical/mechanical system knowledge, troubleshooting, fault isolation, and repair methodology + Knowledge of circuit card manufacturing, including Selective Solder and SMT + Functional system level and component level testing **Relocation:** This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility. **Drug-Free Workplace:** Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies. **Total Rewards & Pay Transparency:** At Boeing, we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract, engage and retain the top talent.
