Job Description
Controller Location: Elmhurst, IL (On-site, 5 days/week)
Salary Range: $100,000 – $140,000

Key Responsibilities - Lead and manage a team of three accounting professionals
- Oversee and execute the full month-end close process, including preparation and posting of journal entries and general ledger reconciliations
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of month-end close (within a 7–10 day window)
- Support cross-training and provide backup for AP, AR, and billing functions as needed
- Assist with process improvements, ad hoc projects, and year-end physical inventory activities
- Collaborate closely with the CFO on financial operations and strategic initiatives
Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA preferred
- Proven experience managing and developing accounting teams
- 7+ years of experience owning month-end-close procedures
- Sales tax knowledge and experience required
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, high-volume environment
